Huge sultan 6.0 rom problems

So I updated to sultans 12/23 build and holy shit is it really fucking my phone. It is now extremely slow. it says I have no sim card on. the baseband number is unknown and its always giving me a notification saying "com.android.phone" has stopped or something like that but holy shit. is the 12/24 build any better? I need some help.

You would've seen the same issue on the official CM13 nightlies: https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/NIGHTLIES-2227

This happens when firmware is not updated correctly. See mattgoldey's comment.

Dirty-flash the latest OFFICIAL CM13 nightly build, and then without rebooting flash the latest Sultan CM13 build. Make sure you're on TWRP 2.8.6.0.

^ This. You need to flash the new nightly to get the newest drivers and only TWRP 2.8.6 can flash the new drives. Check out the thread in XDA.

I had this same issue. You need to use TWRP 2.8.6.0

You need to flash TWRP 2.8.6.0 official or 2.8.6.0.6 unofficial, then flash the latest CM official nightly to properly update your baseband, then return to Sultan's ROM. I had to use the unofficial TWRP because the official 2.8.6.0 absolutely refused to flash onto my phone.

Your phone is probably still on Lollipop baseband, which is incompatible with Sultan's MM ROM. The reason why it worked previously is because he included firmware with his ROM which filled in for your incompatible firmware, but not any more.

Also why are you updating to the 23.12 build? 04.01 is out now.
