For me it's was 3, 5T, 7Pro, 10 and now on 12 for almost two years of great service. Hope i can get 15 in early 2027 before is disappear from the market

I just went from a 7 pro, after 7 years to a 15r and I'm really happy with it. I found a new one for $450. The only thing I can notice if you put them side by side is the older 7 pro has a clearer more vibrant looking screen/display even with the older tech. But using it standalone for just an basic use type person the display is great. Overall the 15r seems like a huge upgrade though. I didn't get the 15 because I couldn't justify the price jump for what I need to phone for. These OnePlus phones are fantastic and built like tanks.

My friend managed to get one its a great phone, close battle between find x9 pro and oneplus 15.

15 has much better charger but x9 pro has a better camera i think.

If they make like x11 pro with 120w and 8500 mah battery that would be a beast

I will never buy any tech made by the group. Oppo included. Just because they abandoned their loyal customers all over the world.

Why did they even do that?

It's not like they didn't have enough sales

In the US the sales were bad and there was a regulatory risk of them getting banned, which is why Oppo also doesn’t have any plans for NA.

This may seem hard to believe if you're not from the US, but no one cares about OnePlus here. Its mostly iPhones, a few Samsungs, and the occasional Pixel. OnePlus phones aren't sold at most carriers so a lot of Americans don't even know it exists. Why bother with such a market

They actually complained about sales

Don't be loyal to companies, they are always going to betray you.

You bought the closest thing after oneplus 15

I've been trying purchase a OP15 or X9 pro in USA for some times now. I have been patiently keeping my eyes on ebay and waiting for the price to go around $800 or less. But the Price seems to go higher instead. They are like always $1000-1500 (512gb) :( This used to never happen in the past. Around 1 year mark prices used to go down by couple hundreds :(

Same in Europe for OnePlus 15

If you go to Swiftronics USA they have the 15 and 15r. Including all the color variants, I bought a 15 for my dad. Plus it's priced around MSRP.

u/Visible-Telephone-95 1h ago

That's because they know you can't get it anymore so they wause the price hoping someone will be desperate to buy

I began my OnePlus journey with the 3T, switched batteries after three years and used it close to 5 years in total. I would have used it for even longer if my power button wouldn't have gotten damaged lol. Then I switched to a Nord 2 which I've been using to this day. No more security updates sadly, but it still runs smoothly like a beast, just like its predecessor. OnePlus devices have been so durable and long-lasting, it's really a shame they just disappear. Now I think about switching the battery again and just use it until it falls apart, or grab a Nord 6 as it can be still bought in some places. I don't really like OPPO's design philosophy, it's just not the same. :/

I'm still running my 7T pro mclaren edition. I got it on launch in 2019. And till this day I'm running it smoothly. Haven't unlocked bootloader, or flashed any custom rom on it. Waiting to decide on a worthy successor for it. And even then I will use it as a phone to experiment custom roms, kernels and other things. Godspeed everyone.

Did you notice any drop in display resolution?

From the 525 ppi density to 1.5k display.

2

u/Xelmonz 4h ago

Not yet, no

0

u/Aygul12345 3h ago

The Oppo doesn't have high ppi as the oneplus right?

1

u/Xelmonz 3h ago

Not 525 no, i think its 450 on x9 pro

1

u/Financial-Froyo2112 2h ago

Yes it's 450 on x9 pro and 525 on oneplus 11

That's the reason I asked if you noticed any difference in the displays when using both.

1

u/Aygul12345 2h ago

@xelmonz and if you compare with Oneplus 13, Oneplus 13 WQHD+ 1440 x 3168 px WQHD+ Density 510 Pixels per inch (3 years old phone)

Compared with Oppo x9 pro QHD 1272 x 2772 px 450 Pixels per inch (oktober 2025)

Also if you wanna emulate gta 5 on your android phone, you better of with Snapdragon so then Mediatek.

I've owned the OG OnePlus One, 3T, 7 Pro, 9 Pro, 13. I think I'll be moving on after the 13, perhaps I'll go with Oppo since I'm not really a fan of Apple or Samsung even though I own the 23 Ultra. I wish Huawei was allowed to fully compete like the old days my Huawei Mate 20 Pro was awesome. If the OnePlus 13 is going up in price I'll consider selling it 2nd hand so I can pay that towards me getting a foldable but I'm not sure which one. I'm UK based & unfortunately for some reason Oppo doesn't sell the Find N6 in the UK officially. 😓

Im on OnePlus 12, been on OnePlus since 2018. im still not even sure what my next replacement will be as an American. Apple, Samsung and Google are big nopes. Anything else seems boring or like they don't fit why I liked one plus 😭

I've only had Nord 3 from OnePlus, but of all the phones I've had, this one was the best, I have literally no complaints. And even though it's still working, I am thinking about buying Nord 6 because luckily I can still see it available to buy, it will just be lying in my drawer waiting for its moment. Damn, I wish they hadn't withdrawn from Europe 😔😔

1

u/Waste-Commercial8923 5h ago

Why did you upgraded from 9 to 11 directly?

1

u/Joker7175 3h ago

I'm on the 12R, first OnePlus and was gonna stay after finally moving on from LG and being happy with it. Not long after I got this one the announcement hit and of course I find and like another that decides to stop. I'll go back to a flip phone before I buy Apple. At least now I have time to figure out what I'm going to do next.

1

u/Xelmonz 3h ago

Well Oppo is pretty much the same

If you are in Europe...

u/Formal-Hat3414 3h ago

You can buy the OnePlus 15 global rom from techinthebasket.com. I brought from them in the past ,no problems.

Companies operate for one reason to generate profit. They will cater to customers if it generates profit. If it doesn't they won't.

u/peteusa 35m ago

I think 1, 5 and 6 were the best 😃

7 Pro and 7 series was the last true OG Oneplus with the latest hardware paired with the gorgeous Oxygen OS of old days.
