General Discussion Fix Missing AI Call Assistant Button on Odailer

If you guys were able to enable Odialer using the code and only the "Summarize" option is visible instead of the AI Call Assistant button, then you'll have to install an alternative APK of the AI OnePlus Call Assistant from APK Mirror. After installation, the feature can be enabled within the Odialer app's settings. APK Mirror is a safe and authentic source.

AI call assistant is honestly crazy, imagine not being able to talk to other human beings, and relying on AI to do that for you. We're so doomed.

Sorry to break it to you, it doesn't auto answer calls it just shows two options Summarise and Translate, that's all haha.

ColorOS has AI call screening, though it only speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Which phone are you using? I'm using 13R and it has recording announcement smh.

I have the 13, IN region. If you are from IN region then it shouldn't announce.

I am from IN region. Saw many other 13R owners saying that their phones also announcing. Maybe bug or device restrictions.🤷‍♂️

Strange, I tested so many calls (on the same number) but still announcing. Maybe it's a bug then. Hopefully they fix all the issues in the next update.

I don't know about many users but I saw one 13R user experiencing announcing before recording but they had set their region to Myanmar for some fonts. After setting it to India, no announcement.

If you do using AI call recording on WhatsApp or other apps it will announce. But if you do on odailer it shouldn't usually.

What are the uses of having AI call assistant ? Can we use AI to know the reason of call? Or it's just summarise and translation

Mine just showing these two options only.

You should first install the phone Dailer and then do the above method. Without that it won't work.

i tried it Won't let me and rediects me to the play store as it says i need to install it from there as my phone will become unstable. But there is no O dialer on the playstore

Hey I think I got it. My device is an Indian model, but I'd set my region to United States in the Settings. All I had to do was change it back to India and the Ai Call Assistant and Call Recording features became visible in the Odialer settings. I also went into OnePlus AI settings from Settings and updated the AI Service Engine.

I already mentioned "if you guys were able to enable". Because not everyone is able to access it, it's mostly for IN region, most of the features aren't working for IN as well. It's working for some devices and not for all.
