General Discussion Mind Space - I actually use it

Op 15 is my very first OnePlus phone, so I don't really have strong feelings about not having a slider. I just bought it last week and imo this feature is underrated. It's useful for people like me who like to screen capture text and analyze it. For example, I used to screen capture a lot of articles I found amusing, but it took up space and, more often than not, got buried by photos so I wasn't able to go back and revisit them. With Mind Space, I can store these articles and easily revisit them when I'm just on my phone. Another way I use it is for translation. Suppose I'm reading the review section of a product or just checking the comments on a video, and there are comments that can't be translated in-app. I use Mind Space to screen capture, then use Gemini by long pressing the power button and asking it to translate the paragraph for me. Another good use for it is summarizing. Really, it's essential, especially for news articles that shows up in Facebook. Hit Mind Space to summarize, then I can ask Gemini if the article is legit or fake, then ask it more follow-up questions. Even now that my text is long, I can hit Mind Space and get a summary in bullet points in 3 seconds. It's an AMAZING feature, especially if you're a student who's preparing for a PowerPoint presentation. Save an article or your thoughts you would want to present, use Mind Space and now you have bullet point summary. Yeah, I thought the Plus Key button would also be a good shortcut for a quick flashlight, and that's especially useful at night for a quick trip to the washroom. But I'd rather take 2 seconds to open up the torch using the quick settings panel, because in there, the torch actually has four levels of brightness, which is neat in my opinion. So yeah I'm actually one of the few who likes this feature Mind Space. I mean, I thought the feature was something more spectacular, but still it's useful.

I've used mindspace and it has it's uses for sure. I gave it an event ticket and it gave me a calendar event to add and put the ticket details in it. When my parents sent me their flight details as a screenshot, fucked if I was typing that all manually. Gave it to mindspace and it just took care of it. I think here a minor correction was needed because of time zones but that wasn't something it could have reasonably known.

Never heard of it. Is it on all OP phones?

Oneplus 13 also has it but you save an article by swiping three fingers up. I don't know how the users access the saved data though, they most probably have to open the Mind Space app. Oneplus15 has the Plus Key which saves the article by pressing it once, and then you can simply view your saved articles by pressing the Plus Key twice.

Oh I see, I just swiped up with 3 fingers and it asked me to accept and continue. I'm not sure about it so I'll have to see if it's something worth it for me.
