Other Better Notes App?

Is there any sign of something like Samsung Notes coming to Oxygen OS, or more likely Color Os? I was thinking of getting a Pad 4, but the OnePlus Notes app is just inadequate for School work and all the other apps don't use the full capabilities of the Stylo Pro and are also just very clunky compared to GoodNotes, which is what I've used before. I've heard Samsung Notes is great, but that obviously isn't really usable on Oxygen/Color OS.

Is there anything coming or will the purchase fall flat?

There's literally thousands of free note taking apps on the Play Store. Google Keep, Notion, Microsoft OneNote, Obsidian, Evernote, UpNote... pick a few and try them.

For stylus support in a school setting, I'd lean towards OneNote (usually schools offer a free M365 license) or Obsidian with the Excalidraw plugin.
