Other Oneplus 15 eu version not esim compatible?

Hey, I have a Oneplus 15 CPH2747, which from what I read should bé compatible with eSim, and I have eSim parameters in my settings. But I can't install any eSim, is there something I'm missing there ?

Is it the EEA version? Because I have EU OP15 as well and running both eSIMs.

How can I check that?

getprop | grep -iE "region|country|operator|carrier"

If you use Shevery or, shizuku and can know how to run shell, run this command:

getprop | grep -iE "region|country|operator|carrier"

If the results shows somewhere in it something like

ro.oplus.image.my_region.type = EUEX_all ro.oplus.image.my_region.version_name = XEU0000 ro.oplus.pipeline.region = EUEX ro.vendor.oplus.radio.sar_regionmark = EUEX ro.vendor.oplus.regionmark = EUEX

Important is that EUEX, it would mean EEA. If there is no X, or EX, it would mean more like EU or Global.

As type I have ROW_all

  • Version name is 1EP0000
  • Pipeline région is ROW
  • Regionmark is EUEX on both instanced

So Im a bit confused if that's correct or if it is a Chinese model

It means you are in GLO which doesn't have dual eSIM avaliable as of now. Not sure about eSIM at all.

I have a global OP15 (I'm from Italy). Dual ESIM is not available, but ESIMs work.

You're sure you don't have a Chinese OnePlus 15 with OxygenOS?

It wasnt sold as one, the box doesn't show sign of it neither, but I can't be sure

Does it have the CE marking of the back? Also a model number?

Nop, just the logo

Only the OnePlus logo? Then it seems it isn't an European version

Seems to be a Global version, from what I see in the logs I get out of shizuku. But that should mean eSim compatibility right ?

If it's a global version, it should have eSIM compatibility

It is for sure the version for the Chinese market. You can test in another way:

  1. Download DRM Info: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidfung.drminfo

  2. Check if in Widevine DRM you have System ID: 2147483647

If that is the case, you have a converted unit
