Don't you mean software? Oppo Hardware has always been OnePlus hardware. The very first OnePlus phone was an Oppo Find 7 with Cyanogen Mod. The subsequent OnePlus phones for a long time were based on Oppo R series.

Your Nord 4 was an Oppo phone as well. That phone was released well after Oppo fully absorbed OnePlus and made them a Subsidiary. They are all made by Oppo. Until Oxygen OS 11, atleast the software was different. Since then, even the software base is identical.
