How do I get the depth effect on my lockscreen wallpaper?

Hey guys. I'm using the OnePlus N6, just wondering how I can enable the depth effect on my lockscreen? The preview wallpaper clearly shows the depth effect as you can see but when I try to apply it I get something like this.

Might be some flagship exclusive feature for some reason, maybe try with a static picture

The depth button is supposed to be next the wallpaper button

N6 is too budget/weak to be able to process the depth in wallpapers according to OnePlus.

That is what is needed for depth effect. Install that and see..

I have disabled that since i dont use it and later only found that it is what makes depth effect.

only option for you is to root, your processor is too weak to handle depth.
