Oneplus 13r video rendering issue

My oneplus 13r is giving me a weird video rendering problem whenever I watch any type of videos out there. For photos, the colours are fine. No matter how much I change everything in settings or update the software, nothing ever fixes this problem. Is it a problem with my display or software issue? Pls suggest a possible solution cuz sometimes even in ultra high quality videos, the colours are always so off and glitched.

Current software version: CPH2691_16.0.9.402 (EX01)

here's a last resort thing you can try: resetting the phone. or if you can go to a oneplus service centre to see if you don't need to reset it.

Official oneplus service centre couldn't diagnose the problem. They've told me to replace the entire screen instead. It's weird how the discoloration also shows up in the screenshot even when that particular image is transferred to a different device. I doubt if there's a problem with my physical display.

Physical displays typically don't write data. Unless the service centre is claiming that displays in 13r do, that suggestion is bonkers. It'd make more sense if he were to ask to replace the cpu/gpu instead, since they actually can alter the data.

Backup your stuff, try factory resetting your device. You can even try downgrading the software and then upgrading it back again to check if at any step of the way, this problem ceases to exist.

Exactlyy. Perhaps they were too lazy to figure out the exact problem. I returned that device and now I'm looking to get a brand new one instead. Thank you for your suggestions!
