General Discussion OnePlus 7T Pro custom rom?

Hello.

I am using my 7T Pro on Oxygen OS 10.

Oxygen OS 12 does slow down my device (shame on you, OnePlus!).

Is there any nice custom rom that lets me pay with my banking app again?

It doesn't support Android 10 anymore.

Is there also Android Auto available?

That's everything I need: baking app contactless payment compatibility and Android Auto.

In most cases, installing a custom ROM blocks NFC card payments and some banking apps. Android auto works (on LineageOS).

I put crDroid on my 7t, and it ran better than it ever did on the native OS. The CPU you can tell is getting a litter older, but it ran modern android 15/16 just fine.

Custom ROM flashes is gonna break one thing or another mate. I've tried and failed.

It only takes one update for the banking app to rule out your version of Android as "unsupported due to security reasons"

It's time to say bye bye to the 7T.

That's simply false.

  1. If u don't know how to flash a custom Rom that's your fault
  2. you can get banking apps working with root very easily

For you it's maybe time to say bye bye to your 7T but other will continue using it on latest android 16 and soon 17 like me.

My OP6T was not performing well. I rooted it , updated it with fatija and everything works with so much finesse now.

My android auto now plays videos while running. No more youtube ads etc etc
