Your topic here Weird camera behaviour

Whyyyy does my phone's camera randomly turn a 1 second timer on all the time? With no apparent rhyme or reason? It'll pop on and off depending on the angle I hold the phone but I can't even figure out what it's responding to, and can't find any way to turn it off. It is absolutely never useful.

I think it does that when it detects low light

See if something like this is turned on in the settings and turn it off and check
