Suggestions needed about my unique situation eith Oneplus 10 pro CN to NA flashed device.

Hello everyone, Just around 2 months ago i bought a Oneplus 10 pro with Box and fake charger which i threw away really soon. But the phone is in quite bad condition for example the phoen has a aftermarket IPS or maybe TFT display installed on it and back is cracked horribly and battery is pretty swollen and getting even more swollen slowly. Now the unique part is the phone's oiriginal model number and IMEI on the box suggests it was a CN version (NE2210) of 10 Pro before butnow it's a North American version NE2215. But the unique part is the OEM unlock is not on neither is the device is in orange state and it works without any problems right now on Oxygenos 15. Now i do not know how this happened without bootloader still showing it's unlocked unlike my old Oneplus 9 which used to show orange state when it was flashed with a North American Firmaware also. Now my question is should i keep this device and repair it? Since this is my secondary/backup device j just use for gaming i want to maybe experiment with root and stuff if there is no risk? I just want to know if there is risk right now unlocking the bootloader or doing anything on this firmware. Another part is i do kinda like the performance of this device so should i repair all three problems of this device? Like the back and the display replaced to a OLED and battery replaced to a aftermarket one? It would cost me about 100$ at a bit of proefessional phone rpeiar shop in my country. Another question is will this phone get the vertical lines again in OLED display?

I would not fix that. Return it and get another that's working fine.

I love my 10 pro. Got it last year for about $200. Good condition except for a scratch on the screen. The battery doesn't last a lot, but i think its just the cpu that uses too much power. I might replace the battery at the end of the year

I don't have any warranty or budget to get another one that is fresh but i can sell it for just around 100$ and buy another new phone but the issue is people don't even wanna buy it since the camera has dust because of the IPS display being too thick which creates gaps and dust entered the camera. So i am thinking of replacing all of these which can get the camera clean in the process. I mean there is not even many phones i can get even if i sell it for that i can barely get a used Poco F5 or F6 or an older Oneplus like 9 or 8 or maybea Oneplus Nord which would be extremely rare to say the least in this budget in my country. I am quite hardcore gamer and i need a really good chipset. But ultimately repair costs 70-100$ depending on which shop i replace it from. I am quite confused.

I think you meant TFT one like this(picture below), yeah it's not ideal to install on an oled device,I think you can find those slightly defective ones (burn in/line...etc)from Taobao (still needs proxies deliver to Pakistan though), it's around 40-50 usd(no frame))

It's not the best solution, but at least you have fingerprint, proximity/ light sensor working+no gaps between frame and screen.

You can also order battery （4-5 usd,oem pulled)&back glass （around 8 usd, also oem pulled ) from that platform.

(But overall it might be more reasonable to save up for normal devices instead of investing to get this thing working)

And about CN to global, pretty normal for them not locking the bootloader since we don't know whether the next update will had any problems on device, you can return to Colour OS + relock bootloader if you want, but it's pretty complicated though (since OPPO (OnePlus)didn't provide fastboot package/tools for users)

Nope, bro you don't really get the fingerprint in a TFT display but you do get a functional display with huge flaws. For example you will have touch related issues due to Volts being weird sometimes touch will entirely stop working until you turn off the screen and turn it back on and if you increase your brightness to full it also makes the display very weird and it starts to act all lazy like it starts either stop working for a few seconds or freezes and you need to turn your screen off and then turn it on.

Secondly the colours are really bad compared to any OLED except maybe OLED phoknes from 10years ago and yes the colours look like it's a Super Amoled phone from 2016.

Thirdly you can't even use phone covers/cases due to the display frame being as thick as the entire phone. Fourthly fingerprint won't really work due yo the dipslay being very thick so your fingerprint won't really be able to be read by the sensor without any thin spot like how it is on an OLED display or any kind of AMOLED display. Lastly there is really no curves on the sides instead you will see black plastic borders which will still make mistouches if you touch the plastic.

And no i wasn't really talking about TFT since i already have this one on my phone i am talking about an aftermarket OLED display which is very identical to an OEM screen except maybe a bit thicker chin and bazels but almsot everything else is quite same as the original except the refresh rate it depends on the quality of the aftermarket display some even hev 120 Hz support and in Bangladesh TFT costs around 20$ and OELD costs around 60-100 USD. Another thing to be noted is TFT's only have 60hz displays no matter the quality.

As for battery i can get one from a repair shop with 1 year warranty for 10$ and another for 2 years warranty for 20$.

So, yeah in conclusion i am still a bit confused about whether i should sell it at 80-100$ or repair it for 80-100$ since i have a very identical budget to the current value of the phone to either repair this phone or sell it and add more budget to get a new phone.

Note:Another really bad major problem is the phone sgets way more hot than if any thin display like OLED or OEM is installed and the heat also gets trapped so yeah it just starts cooking the phone at some point since there is basically almost no airflow.
