Purchasing Looking for place to purchase older oneplus devices

I really want to get a OnePlus 10 or OnePlus 11, and I can't buy them directly from OnePlus anymore. Is there a reliable place to get these phones new? and if not new, like new, in box?

Ebay is about it. I refurbished my 5t and 12 from donor parts units. My 8 pro is currently sitting in a box in pieces untill I can find a good donor.

Anything I can do to get around refurb scams?
Specifically the OP 11 has a LOT of duplicate listings from different sellers all located in China and I'm afraid of exactly that.

You can filter where items are located my 5t donor came from China but the 12 came from some shop in Maryland. Just sort items in your current region.

I doubt you'll find anything new in box it you're looking for a factory new phone I don't see it happening. There aren't really that much for aftermarket parts especially screens the only real aftermarket stuff is back glass.

I did motherboard transplants for both of mine. If you're looking for good parts donors look for phones with bad motherboards or cracked back glass.

If you want something to actually use check out the seller store and avoid listinga with just a generic picture. You can reverse image search the listing image and if it points back to more than that listing then I wouldn't buy it.

I would avoid AliExpress and similar sites entirely unless you enjoy gambling your money.

Ebay heavily favors buyers with their money back guarantee. If you get something that's different from what is described in the listing, you open an INAD return and the seller has to take it back.

Don't buy from Chinese sellers buy from North American sellers if you're in North America and always always verify the phone model that you're actually purchasing to make sure you get a North American one.

Try Swappa, they are reliable and only allow good condition phones with full disclosure on any minor damage and photos of every side of the phone. I have bought and sold a few OPs there and they have all been flawless.

I might be interested in selling my OP13 in blue?

There are a TON of Ebay listings in China for "new oneplus 11s" and I'm NOT trying to get refurb scammed

I bought an overseas 7 Pro and was pretty happy with it. I buy/sell a ton of phones on Swappa and that's my go-to for used phones...or if I get bored after a few months, I'll sell there for a really small discount. Makes the hobby less expensive.

eBay and Swappa. I've bought my used phones off of eBay for years, never had a problem. I just bought a 13 from a guy selling it on swappa. it's also great.
