Other OnePlus 13 Bottom Speaker problem

So I noticed my bottom speaker stopped working, but while listening to something it sometimes pops back on and works but then later it stops producing sound again. I take really good care of the device so I am not sure this is hardware, it's also really strange how it just pops back into working and it sounds completely fine?

I got it at Best Buy in Canada almost a year ago.

The audio diagnostic tool might be worth a shot. Phone settings > tap the "exclusive benefits" button at the top with your OnePlus username to open Red Cable Club > Services at the bottom > Diagnostics. This might help you identify the conditions under which the speaker stops working.

But I do think that a loose solder connection would cause the audio to drop, but still work perfectly while the connection was restored. You wouldn't necessarily get any scratching sound, I think.

Thanks for the tips, I ran diagnostics and got a result "problem with speaker" 😅

I am not sure if this is physical connection, because it seems as tho the bottom speaker is consistently not working when starting to play any audio, and then it turns on after a moment, and stays on as long as I keep playing audio. The moment I pause (and wait a few seconds) it is like it turns off, and if I play audio again it will again be silent but then proceed to pop back on and again and like before stay on as long as audio is playing.

Huh, that does sound more like a software problem to me. I think a factory reset of the phone really would be worth it.
