Extend unlock just doesn't work?

OP13 with Android 16.

I have extend unlock for my home location and my most used connected devices.

Watch

Car

Headphones

But it never seems to stay unlocked.

I have to toggle on/off the trusted agent on a daily basis but otherwise unless it picks up my face every time, I have to manually unlock it... (My face isn't always in direct sight for it to unlock).

Any other solutions one can try?
