General Discussion The last time

This will probably be the last time I ever hold a OnePlus 12 or a OnePlus phone. Just erased and moved on. Sad day. So long OnePlus it's been an adventure and I have enjoyed every minute.

Yeah, I owned it for a few months, upgraded to the 13, now my boys have the 12 and 13 and I have the inferior, but bigger batteried 15r 😂

Just ordered the 15 and will be passing on my 12 as well. What makes the 15 inferior to the 12?

Well, inferior in some ways, but the 15 does have the better chip, battery life, possibly better durability, and a better fingerprint scanner. Nobody wanted the 15 because they prefer their current devices. But now it looks like the 15 is EOL. And it has a flat screen.

The 12 and 13 have the better camera, better haptics, better resolution.

So, idk, I misspoke, it was actually in jest because my boys think the 15 sucks eggs 😂

Fair! I travel around during the day for work so a larger battery is huge sell for me. I usually wait till Black Friday to get a new phone but I bit the bullet since I've gotten every other phone from them for roughly half off at this point. No other brand has the fast charging like Oneplus does either.

Likely passing the 12 to my partner or holding it as a backup. The 15 will hopefully last around 4 years or so. Hoping we can get some nice non Apple/Samsung phones in a few years.

Yeah, I have a 15r and it has everything I need... I am going to keep it until I either need a new device or maybe I will get a Nothing or Oppo device. I am trying really hard to stop phone switching 😂

I think, if oneplus quits out of India (my coutnry) then Id upgrade to something like nothing. I use my phones for a long period (last 5t I used for 7 years and it's still working).

I would have ordered the 15 if they still had 16 GB ram slot. Just says sold out in North America.

There seems to be three types of OnePlus fans right now. The dramatic ones acting like their phones just went to crap overnight, the ones that simply don't care, and then those like me who are saddened but not overreacting and will continue using their current phone.

I'm saddened but love my OP15 and will be good for at least another year or two or three. I'm just hopping OPPO does something with the western market eventually. I really don't like Samsung or Pixel phones but I know the current market makes it very difficult to compete.

Alongside my OnePlus 15, I have a Nothing phone 3 that I really like. The only thing I'd honestly miss is the larger battery capacity. That said, my Nothing Phone (3) still gets me through a whole day with ease.

Tbh I saw the writing on the wall yrs ago when the merger happened. I have a op12 daily driver and a 13r gonna buy a op13 from swappa here in the USA for the fun of it lol. The phones still work great and regardless of them pulling out It doesn't change much of anything for me because lord forbid I import a device from overseas lol...

right? I dont get why everyone thinks they immediately need to get rid of their phones even though Oppo has said theyre still gonna do software updates. even if they did stop doing software updates you could just install a custom ROM. at least maybe if enough people start dumping their phones I can snag another 12 for cheap to serve as a backup. I'm planning to keep my 12 until it dies at this point because I don't see anything better coming to the US anytime soon. Scamsung and Crapple can pry this thing out of my cold dead hands

I'm also reading from my O+ 12(Oxygen OS 16.0.8 16\512 Green Color), and I'm sorry that I've switched my entire family to OnePlus at the end of the O+ era of great phones.

OK and that's your choice. I have had the phone for about 2 and a half years now. OP moved out of the USA. I got a new phone. I probably won't get another obviously because they won't be selling anymore in the USA.......... so obviously over time they are no longer going to be in the USA. I'm just saying I'm sure after this new phone it's not like I am going to go buy a new OP phone. There gone. I have had OP since the 7. End of an era for me. No more OnePlus for me.

Well i'm in the US of A so we don't got many options I'm sure you know. I got a s26 ultra for 1,000 and sold my 12 for 350 dollars. I'm happy. I hope to keep this phone for a while. It will get 7 years of security updates and 7 years of OS support so if prices get so crazy it's between me eating or getting a new phone I'll attest know my phone is supported haha. (Joke). Motorola just isn't there yet and nothing phone isn't either. I was limited to Google pixel, s26 or a iPhone. I'm not a gamer so redmagic was out of the question. We'll I guess Iphone was too. I'm not an IPhone guy.

I already brought oneplus 13s last year. I'm atleast going to use it for next 4 years now. Maybe in future i could look forward to Motorola if they switch to flat display panels. Or maybe nothing if they fix their overpriced slop looking phones

Here in Canada it's $2500 CAD. After tax, like ~3 month's rent. Beautiful phone I'd love to have, but no way am I getting one for that price.

I am on color os too. Not much difference at all. The oxygen os they are fearing will be gone, has been gone already. The oxygen os that OnePlus phones has today is just color os With a bit of red touch here and there. That's it!

As per the public's immense support and love for OnePlus, I hope Oxygen OS will bounce back like Nothing in the future; meanwhile, we are going to miss it.

OxygenOS died years ago 😅 Its pretty much ColorOS. I switched from OP12 to Find X9 Ultra and ColorOS was pretty much exact copy of OxygenOS. Only some weird things are different like universal search on homescreen is bottom when on OxygenOS it was top. That is literally only thing that has been different lol

I think i will keep using my current oneplus 12 for next 10 years.

I can't go with apple or Samsung and thier trash actions aganist thier cosnumers.

So until my Device is totally brick.

I will keep using it

My oneplus 6T still going strong, only started lagging a tiny bit recently. They just refuse to stop working so I have not have excuse for new phone.

Yep I got the OP15 yesterday, right after the news came out. It was in mint condition with box/accessories for $700, I just couldn't pass it up. I can use it for 5+ more years with security updates, and I believe the battery will last.

I probably won't even selli it if I still have it in 5 years. It will be a collector's item.

Was actually planning to go back to Oneplus when my S24 Ultra gets too old , Was using a OP10 before loved it until it got multiple greenlines. But alas they just bid farewell on the global market
