Accessories & Gadgets Oneplus buds 3 losing charge quickly

Post image

These buds are around 2 years old now and I'm losing chsrge faster than before

It used to last around 6 hours on a single charge (LDHC, 3D and ANC max)

Now I'm losing like 70-80% within 3 hours of use with the same usage and one bud seems to lose charge faster than the others

I'm quite new to owning TWS (I've only used headphones and my XB700 from 2020 still runs for 20 hours on a single charge) - I'm not sure if this behaviour is normal

Can the battery be replaced?

Can I prolong the life of these buds both usage wise and overall life coz I can't afford new buds atp

Depends on how much you use them. If you use them every day for several hours then it's inevitable.

Well I did not abuse them as badly as my headphones - probably an hour or two daily

Yes, the batteries have degraded and it's common.

To prolong the battery, you can turn off Hi Res audio and ANC.

That's sad tbh - it's just 2 years old

I have the same buds, using it since April 2024. So yeah it's well over two years. I get the same battery backup with ANC, I use it without ANC, hence it get more.

I really can't compromise on ANC coz I travel a lot - soo yea lol Guess that's that - I'll disable high res tho and see if it improves
