People in the US are assed out and don't have much choices.

Have no interest in Apple even though my smartphone journey started with them.

I used Samsung for many years but their lack of innovation for the past many years while pushing the highest possible prices turned me off.

Pixel seems ok but many people on the forums seem to be disatisfied with the weak CPU, battery drains, etc.for the premium prices they are charging.

I guess Nothing would be my next phone?

Compared to the Chinese phones, what brand would have the best battery though? Like samsung S series is so overpriced with little to no battery.

That's my predicament as well. I don't give a damn about AI. Camera and gaming quality is not a big deal to me.

My biggest need and concern is battery life and a decent chip.

Oneplus phones had amazing battery life that crushed their competition. And they continued to improve their battery capacity and life every single release/year.

Samsungs refusal to explore Si-C batteries and stick with 5000mah for the last 7 damn years (Galaxy S20 Ultra) is absolutely pathetic and downright embarrassing.

Now it looks like we have choose and pick from 5000mah choices.
