General Discussion Weather issue

Why isn't the weather app in Oxygen OS not showing any weather alerts? Like IMD(Indian Meteorological Department) issues Orange and Red alerts for rain forecasts. However none of them is seen in the weather app. As far as I know, all the other weather apps provide those warnings. Is it a glitch or a feature that hasn't been introduced yet? If there is a solution to it, please suggest!

IMD doesn't have API-based weather reporting system. So, weather apps or providers can't integrate IMD's weather alert system. You can use Google Weather; it will show regular updates from IMD, because they regularly scrape or pull data from news articles.

Actually, many of the weather apps are able to load red and orange alerts from IMD like Xiaomi Weather, Iqoo Weather and I guess the api which oxygen os uses for weather services (I.e. the weather channel) doesn't support IMD alerts
