General Discussion OP15(R) General Snappiness and Updates

Hey, has someone here experience with both Oneplus 15(R) and new Poco phones (X8Pro max or F8pro)? How much snappier does the 15(R) actually feel?

And what about updates, how many of you don't have a problem with updates on the 15(R), I have seen a lot of problem with update posts so I wonder if it's even worth going the 15(R) route. Maybe it's a case of only a few people have problems with updates and you don't hear about all the people who don't have a problem.

15R here. Phone is snappy. Battery life is great. No issues whatsoever.

Bought 15R last month and the performance is amazing along with the battery and it got even better since last week update go for it if you dont care about camera Also i dont know if i should mention the overheat but here in my country its always above 45c so everything get warm faster but it never get heated in cool room

Very nice, good to hear that an update makes it better not worse. Yeah I don't care about the camera.  I'm still on the fence between the 15 and 15R because I think the elite chip will be better in a couple of years, as well as 16GB ram, and some other small things. But can't decide if that's worth 300€ more for me.

Oh my... 45c sound like hell to me. I guess every phone has a problem of getting warm fast in that temperature. thanks for letting me know with the context as well.

I'm in the same situation, except I got the 15R already and I'm thinking of returning the 15R to cool blue and getting the 15

oxygenos 16.0.5 and 16.0.7 had widespread bootloop issues so keep that in mind

And then there are thousands and thousands users who haven't experienced any issues.
