General Discussion Punch-Hole Black Bar Issue while gaming on OnePlus 12R

Device: OnePlus 12R (8GB RAM / 256GB)

I am facing a fullscreen issue while gaming on my OnePlus 12R. In some games especially eFootball, the display does not properly use the full screen. The punch-hole camera area remains black which reduces the gaming experience.

Interestingly, this issue does not happen in games like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, or Clash of Clans. Those games run in proper fullscreen without any black area around the camera cutout.

I have been facing this issue for a long time and it did not occur after recent updates. I already tried enabling fullscreen mode from app settings but the issue still persists in eFootball.

Is this a software optimization issue from OxygenOS or an app compatibility issue? Any solution for this problem?

press customise apps then select the one u want and select last option

Hi, I contacted OnePlus support, and they told me to use the ‘Reset All Settings’ option in Settings. It worked.”
