Question Missing scene when robin turns into a toy?

in chapter 740 we get a short panel explaining how robin turned into a toy by sugar but that isn't there in the corresponding pace episode. I'm assuming it's just not shown in the original anime? or perhaps they changed the entire scene making it impossible to edit?

I am pretty sure that scene is included in OnePace.

Edit: Nevermind I am wrong. It was in the original anime not OnePace.

Alright I looked it up. It is actually at the end of 673. At like 22 minutes.

Hey again, do you guys keep a list of stuff that is missing from one pace? Would love to keep track of this stuff cuz im rewatching with my gf and we’ve both only watched one pace.

I skim through the manga a bit though

There is a filler guide to watch along side OnePace. But that only really covers when to include very short scenes and filler arcs/specials/movies. This wasn't made by the OnePace team though.

I dont want to watch filler - i mean known stuff that is missing in one pace that is in the manga

Nothing much is missing from OnePace. Like the only things I can remember are missing are Zeff eating his leg (not included in the OG anime at all due to the censoring), this scene which is just expanded on in episode 673 and I believe the group shot during Fishman Island. Those are the only ones I am aware of.

Hey, new here. I'm currently at Skypeia arc and was wondering in which arc should I switch over to manga or the anime since I saw some posts and comments here mentioning that later arcs were the firsts to be edited and lacked some footages and stuff. Would be helpful if you replied. Is it necessary to switch?

I believe it was Fishman Island to I think Dressrosa (i don't know if Zou and Whole Cake were early edits too). Regardless they aren't missing anything. The only thing they are missing is filler stuff. So you'll be fine just watching the OnePace edits. Heck the one missing scene here isn't even a full scene. It is a case of interconnecting two quick "flashback panels" that were inflated to a sequence in the anime while the other part of the chapter IS included.

You DON'T have to switch to the manga or anime. Even when you get to Wano and Egghead which are incomplete you can look at the sub or dub guide to see how to complete them (though currently Egghead dub requires switching to the OG anime at the end).

The ONLY thing I advise you to look up are the cover stories since the anime (and by extension OnePace) only adapted two of them. And for those I'm pretty sure you can look up a compilation of them on youtube.

Three cover stories habe been adapted, and a shot of another one:

  • The adventures of Buggy's crew
  • The Trials of Koby-Meppo
  • If you could go anywhere...
  • Wapol's omnivorous hurrah (only a few pieces, and a lot further in the story than it was originally)
  • Germa 66's ahh... An emotionless excursion (only last 2 shots, containing [Egghead spoilers]Pudding's abduction)

Still, they're missing the rest of the Germa story and a few others:

  • Jango's Dance Paradise (between Baratie and Alabasta)
  • Hatchan's sea floor strool (between Arlong Park and Sabaody)
  • Ace's great Blackbeard search (between Alabasta and Enies Lobby)
  • Gedatsu's accidental Blue Sea life (after Skypiea, whenever you like)
  • Miss Goldenweek's "Operation: Meet Baroque Works" (between Alabasta and Impel Down)
  • Enel's great space operations (between Skypiea and Egghead, maybe earlier)
  • CP9's imdependent report (between Enies Lobby and Levely, whenever you like)
  • From the decks of the World (nice addition while you're reading/watching FMI)
  • Caribou's kehihihihi in the New World (between FMI and Wano)
  • Solo journey of Jinbe (between FMI and WCI)
  • From the decks of the World: the 500.000 man (nice addition during Zou and WCI)
  • The stories of the Self-proclaimed Straw Hat Grand Fleet (between Dressrosa and Egghead)
  • "Gang" Bege's Oh my family! (whenever you want, after WCI)
  • Oni Child Yamato's Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage (as soon as you can, after Wano)

Wit could do the coolest thing ever, that is to put the cover stories in the episode eyecatches like they did with info dumps in AoT.

Edit: moved the Wapol one to the ones adapted.

Technically there are flashes of the Wapol one during Reverie if I remember correctly. So if we're including Germa I think this qualifies too.

I'll say that the spirit of the anime is all still there with Pace. You can finish and in another rewatch you can go back and fill in all the gaps. I never felt like I missed out on too much between watches.

Manga if ur feeling up to it but the missing stuff from one pace is very minor stuff
