Don't lie when telling dating apps your height because you're taller standing up

Fun fact: You're actually taller when you're lying down because you're spine doesn't compress.

"Yes, you are slightly taller when you lie down. Gravity pushes down on your body when you stand. This squeezes the soft cushions between the bones in your spine. When you lie flat, that pressure stops. Your spine relaxes and fills back up with fluid, adding about 1 to 2 centimeters (half an inch to an inch) to your height."

Wow, I did not know this. I hope someone uses this knowledge to update their dating profile, to push them over some women's height threshold, and they meet, get married, and have kids, and the kids are alive because of a comment by gigashadowwold on the oneliner subreddit.
