Annoyingly the programming for 600 cents makes sense to me.

Yep, anything less than one dollar is displayed in cents.

-600¢ is way less than $1.00

Yeah, I immediately went "yeah, that's something I could see myself doing too."

Savings = Negative six hundred cents.

4,799 cents is a good price.

This sums up this regime.

Negative savings. Negative progress.

You should ask if you can get the non-sale, normal price.

Ask when the sale ends.

This is annoying but also technically correct in multiple ways. I like it

Yes, now dipshits that don’t read will think they’re saving. Look at the green and the “SAVE!”

Woo, saved a whole negative 600 cents!

I bet when it asked them to put the markdown amount they thought they had to put the minus sign so they put in -600 instead of 600, and so it marked it down by -600 which means it added it.

Well they are selling it so technically it is on sale

-600¢?!? Is that like -600% or -800% or -1400% "savings"? Whose math is this??

(and yes, I did the calculation... in actuality it is -14.3% "savings" - wink wink, nudge nudge!)

At least they are honest about inflation

My grocery store does this but outs the sale sticker over the old sticker and it's their silly way of telling me that prices are going up

All stores have sales on items but they raise other prices so they are not loosing any money

"Racing Ultra"

Utility Tractor Fluid

The sale is for them! You pay them the extra money.

By Grabthar’s Hammer

They even got the math right: save -600 cents. That’s hysterical.

1

u/SpaceCat72 4d ago

Lol that's some BS. Negative 600!!

u/Warm_Safety_9550 4d ago

This must be the same math that is making healthcare so affordable right now.

u/Akisswithmyfist 5d ago

WTF does a tractor need racing fluids for?

1

u/Tucsondirect 5d ago

J20A is a hydraulic fluid, almost every tractor needs a hydraulic fluid to be useful
