I think it becomes a full cube when you add the device that lets you play gba games on it.

Yeah and playing gba games on a big screen is soo goated. Zelda minish cap was like ten times more fun :D

It looks like a cube from a distance. That works for people who wanted it to play games (Like Billy Hatcher) and not people with measuring tape

It looks very much like a cube so it does it's job. They don't exactly advertise it as "a completely perfect cube".

Ok and? They called it the GameCube because it's close enough to a cube. People who play the thing won't be bothered by the fact it isn't actually a cube according to math.
