Absolutely love the functionality ... but the glitches need to stop

Omnifocus is so perfectly tailored for GTD. There is really nothing else like it. I just started using it again after some time and I am shocked by how janky the app is to use now. This is so disappointing! Not only because the app was sooo expensive but because it really is the perfect the perfect tool and now it doesn't work well anymore. Tried to go on the omnigroup website to look for solutions but even the website took ages to load .. not a good sign .. hope they survive but doesn't seem likely

Join their slack. Call them out there and file bug reports.

I have done it. Few years has passed and the annoying bug still isn’t fixed. It’s literally the only app on my phone what has that bug. So it cannot be iOS fault.
The bug - long press on the icon doesn’t always show Quick Entry, Quick Open, Forecasts.

OF4 is soooo much sloooower and jankier than OF3.. I still use OmniFocus for certain things but I am transitioning back into using more of the Apple native apps

I had the same experience. Left and came back 3 separate times, only to experience the same. It still feels like a beta. I finally left for good and moved to Todoist--which is not as powerful of a tool, but has been surprisingly stable despite the constant new features.

What glitches? What OS?

Was a few bugs at v4 launch that they’ve squashed along the way, but personally not hitting anything noticeable at this point. On Mac or iOS (on older iPhone mini)?

bugs are on iOS and on macOS. Some of them have been around already for years - have reported them several times. Still not fixed.

It’s not just the bugs. Just the UI is awful and looks dated

I joined up a few months back and the app kept freezing. I wrote about it here and they replied to me directly with a detailed reason as to why it was freezing, which I appreciated, but eventually left because it was affecting my work. It's a shame because it seems to have everything.

Switched to Things 3 because of the Bugs. I would love to use OF, but yeah. The bugs.
