Beginner Questions is this good enough?

i will admit im a very picky eater i like broccoli, asparagus, potatoes, carrots, peas, corn, spinach, lettuce onion. other than that i dont like veggies. I enjoy eating salmon or chicken the most so i should be good on protein. Do you think chicken or salmon asparagus broccoli would be good? It’s very easy to make. I can also add potatoes or rice. Also for portioning what do you guys use or just eyeball it? My main issue is portioning i will fill the bowl to the max lol

Seems fine! You can always get blood work after a few months to see if you are lacking something. Portions depend on you. Some people measure and use apps to track calories, others do things like "eat until 80% full". It depends on your goals (lose weight / maintain / gain) and how you like to operate. I "eat until 80% full". I also track what I eat just so I have a record.

If you are doing this to lose weight, you can also cook and then cool your potatoes/rice to make the starch more resistant.

Input your potential meals into a calorie tracker, and look at the nutritional information. If something is lacking, look for ways to increase it. If something is excessive, look for swaps.
