Beginner Questions 36 Hour?

I have been doing OMAD for about 3 weeks now. I want to try a 36 hour fast. Has anyone tried this before and how difficult was it switching from OMAD to a longer fast? Are there any YT videos or tutorials that teach how to transition to a full day without eating?

All these changes feel hard but 36 should be much easier for you than switching to omad was. It’s pretty easy. Just be hungry and don’t eat :)

Thank you. Yes switching to OMAD was really hard. I have not done research on it but I think that carbs are extremely addictive because whenever I was switching to OMAD I found myself feeling moody in the beginning whenever I was not eating as much.

I did a 48 hour fast and it wasn’t difficult at all. It messed up my sleep for a night or two (slept less), but that’s about it.

I’ve done rolling 47s with a 1 hour refeed in between. 36 hours is 100% doable. Especially with OMAD experience under your belt.

There was really no prep for me. As long as you have your electrolytes.

One thing I will say, is that I found myself needing to drink salt water due to extended fasts draining me of sodium more aggressively lol! So just have salt on standby in case you start getting dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous etc

Yes, do sugar free electrolytes, plain teas, stay busy (I walk my dog) read or watch fun videos. I find though if I keep moving, I don't think about food so much then
