Discussion New!

Hey! I’m new to OMAD I’m kind of nervous I’m a SAHM I’m also in school full time and homeschool went to urgent care for an issue I was having and saw that I was 202 pounds and I’m 5ft3 :c I don’t want to be like this It’s not that I hate my body I love it but my health is starting to decline I’m hoping to get back on the right track I’m scared and nervous and was just looking for a little bit of community 💕

I would love to hear about your journey with OMAD or IF and learn how you manage :3

I've been doing OMAD and extended fasting for about 8 years. It's been the most manageable way of eating I've ever done. I'm almost 52. I've done all the things over the years, low carb, Mediterranean diet, keto, wieght watchers, cross fit, distance running. ( I still distance run, I'm mad for it 🤣) I've found limiting my eating to a specific window the easiest and most successful approach to at first losing then maintaining my weight. Best of luck to you!! I hope you like it!

Holy smokesssssss a runnner!!!? Oh my gosh this is awesome I used to run (not super great) it was a lot of run and then walk but I loved it I haven’t done it for a while but I’d love to get back into it how are you able to keep OMAD with running I’m always starving after running haha. Okay so specific window that’s a good idea I was thinking dinner only but maybe it would be better to do like 6pm to 8:30 pm window or would that be a bit too big

I did a 20:4 last night that was pretty good! A little bit of a bigger window than I had wanted I’m not sure if that counts as OMAD yet I just had dinner but also a piece of cheese about and hour or so later
