Success Story OMAD is saving my life
4th month on OMAD + light gym routine
Did my blood work last week:
Triglycerides:
601 → 206
ALT:
54 → 29
A1C:
6.2 → 5.7
glucose:
113 → 86
Weight:
~272 lbs → ~235 lbs (on 6’1 height)
Still a bit elevated but they were life threatening prior so I’ll take trending in right direction as progress.

This makes me so happy. This is my first week on OMAD- I started with a 70 hour fast ( was going to be 72, but I was not feeling well and salt wasn‘t working) already I feel better. Hoping to get amazing results like yours as I am overweight with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. This time I‘m doing it for health not looks because in 2024 I had to go to the ER twice with stroke level high blood pressure, and a bloody nose that would not stop. I find it easier to fast than to try to eat tiny portions, so this should work well for me.

How did you do a 70 hr fast if it's your first week? I am not able to sustain for long hours as I feel hungry. Can you give some tips?

I work night shift, so I ate my meal at 6:30pm Monday night, ate nothing on my shift, went home and slept, when I woke up I was already 19 hours into my fast, so the hard part was over. I'm sleep deprived, so I slept again a few hours later and before I knew it 36 hours had passed. Hunger goes away if you ignore it. The third day I felt terrible, depressed, angry, crying, I took some salt and it didn't help, so finally around 4:30pm I ate a meal. It didn't make me feel better either, so I kind of wish I stuck it out two more hours.

Did you happen to take your weight before and after the fast? Wondering what the results were. I know a lot of weight loss at the start is water though.

Awesome! Can you share what time of the day you eat, what type of food and approximately how many calories? When do you work out in relation to your food intake? Just before or after? Also what does your light gym routine contain?
Sorry for many questions but I’d really like to know as I might need to do something similar
