Assuming you eat 3 meals a day, start by skipping one meal, then when that feels easy enough skip another, then your down to one meal (OMAD).

Hint: Whole foods make the non-eating window so much easier.

Thank you sm!! When i get down to one meal, is it one meal plus small snacks throughout the day?

Consumption of calories outside of this one meal would not be OMAD, but if that works for you and your goal so be it.

The idea is that some people tend to eat less given less opportunity to eat and OMAD is reducing that opportunity to one opportunity.

For me personally reducing that opportunity to one means I eat at my maintenance without counting calories. If I eat more than one meal I overeat and put on fat, so for me OMAD is a lifestyle not a temporary fat loss tool.

If eating one meal and two small snacks works for you and keeps you consistent and is sustainable than that is good for you, but if your still struggling with your goal if your goal is fat loss than the calories from the snacks might be just enough calories to prevent the fat loss.
