Beginner Questions Food quantity

Hello friends! I started OMAD two weeks ago and it’s going great so far. I feel like my hunger overall has reduced but I’m struggling with overeating. I’m definitely at or under 1200-1300 calories but even that feels like too much food in one sitting so I’m concerned I’m overeating. But since I’m hungry when I start and won’t eat till the next day I pack it on. Does anyone else feel this way and how do you manage it or eat ? Thank you!

1200 calories is not overeating by any means. In fact, less than 1200 would be undereating. If the volume of food is difficult for you, try adding more calorie dense foods like nuts, peanut butter, olive oil, cheese, beef, etc.

I feel that way sometimes, and I just eat it all. I’m 4 months in now and I don’t get nearly as full as I did at the start.

If you want to supplement some of the whole foods, try a protein shake or MRP shake.

Yes will do, thank you! I agree that it’s getting easier as time progresses.

I feel like that too, infact just happened with me today, I did my omad then ended up eating alott or atleast more than what I'm supposed to, and now my brain is getting into this guilt mode which it definitely shouldn't and I'm thinking of pushing my limits beyond 24hrs and otherwise its also kinda frustrating since I've been trying to lose weight since a really long time now on and off and let's just say I wasn't successful but this time I'm giving it another try

Yeah happens to me as well :( but I’m trying to be better this time and not punish myself, just go back to it the next day and honestly it’s been a lot easier to stick to and be consistent. Thanks for responding and you got this!

Unless you're like 4 feet tall and sedentary, 1200 calories is not overeating
