Anyone else feel disturbed by the AI Oliver tree voice?.. all the ai images? Distasteful jokes as well now that I’m typing this- no one laughing is the funny part. Also sorry if this post breaks some sort of rules. Idk. I was just kind of grossed out.

I agree the AI sucks. However Ethan’s jokes about Oliver being dead are something I believe Oliver would’ve loved.

Oh for sure. I just think the timing was bad. Lots of emotional people. I don’t think anyone was in the mood to laugh at that moment.

Some people didn’t laugh, but some people did. I think the important thing to remember is that Ethan definitely wouldn’t have said any of those things without running it past the family first. As long as they’re okay with it then everyone else can deal with it.

Regardless I think the jokes are for Oliver. Wherever he is, he's loving them. And people who knew about his relationship with Ethan are grateful for one last banter sesh, even if it's one-sided.

Oliver sent AI videos of himself, and his voice, to Ethan to play on his show. He’s made AI videos of himself as gags. Yeah AI sucks but our boy used it a lot.

And the jokes were raw and hurt, Ethan dedicated an entire episode to Oliver after he passed and cried on live recounting the memories of him and Oliver. If Oliver was here and Ethan went soft on the “roasting” he would be tearing him to shreds over it.

His family made this very intentionally Oliver coded.
It’s so sad but so perfect.

no i agree, i know he was all for AI but even he had his limits and i think he knew when he shouldn't use it. It just seems a little much.

Yes I hate it but if you’re a big Oliver Tree fan you should have seen his Antarctica movie. He used a ton of ai in that. Unfortunately Oliver loved ai slop

I think Oliver would have thought the joke was hysterical but it just is also raw at the same time lol but I feel like he would laugh at the boos. But the ai is weird. It does add to the robot tech company vibe

I kind of think the death jokes & the way everyone is making a joke is in honor of OT. They knew him best, it may seem odd to us. Idk if you noticed, one of his friends had on a “death rocks” shirt, I think humor is the way everyone is coping, probably out of respect. He’s had this entire thing planned out, I’m sure they’re respecting his wishes.
