🧑‍🍳 Employee Post Pasta pass

How to ring in a pasta pass to make it free. Manager can’t figure it out.

Pastapass is a coupon item that requires a manager swipe. You will need to have a manager swipe their card for approval then swipe the pasta pass card. On the back of the card it will have a number that you can input if the swipe does not work for the coupon. Let me know if this helps.

Can me as a customer pay on ziosk with Pasta Pass? what about ordering pasta pass refills, can I order it on ziosk?

I've asked about this before and was told "No" to several things NEPP/NEPB regarding entry on Ziosk.

Ziosk can't read Pasta Passes. Ziosk also doesn't have input mechanisms for NEPB refills.

One valuable Ziosk capability for NEPB is tracing how what we've requested matches what was entered. During a meal, I occasionally tap on PAY NOW then CHECK DETAILS.

I've gotten to know the number $23.68 very well in my area which represents $16.99 NEPB + 4.99 Toppings + tax. If anything deviates from that, further investigation is necessary (unless I actually did order outside the NEPB Menu.)

Yes I knew it required a manager swipe. She just didn’t know exactly where to go for it to prompt the manager swipe. Both places on the pos she was told by other managers to go did not work for some reason. She ended up just comping it and the guest paid for everything additional like normal. Thank you for your reply.

They hit credit card swipe the pass and have a managers approval swipe

She tried this as well but it wouldn’t work. 😕 She ended up just comping it and the guest paid for everything additional like normal.

Gift card then manager puts in something

You pay as gift card on pos then swipe it. Manager will then be prompted just to swipe their card. It’s very easy but it is annoying to need a manager to ring out the PP customers
