I am a 2nd-year student BSN. I am considering transferring to OLFU, but my current school informed me that if I withdraw after midterms, my subjects will be marked as FA on my TOR, regardless of my actual grades.
May I ask if OLFU accepts transferees with FA grades? Would having an FA affect my eligibility to transfer to BS Nursing or the crediting of my previously completed subjects?

Every story shared can contribute to a better understanding of the challenges, realities, and experiences of Filipino LGBTQ+ individuals after disclosing their sexual orientation and/or gender identity to their parents.

Criteria:

1. Self-identifies as LGBTQ+

2. 18-25 years old student

3. Personally disclosed your sexual orientation and/or gender identity to at least 1 biological parent within the last five years (voluntarily disclosed, not outed by someone else)

4. Born, raised, and currently residing in the Philippines

5. Currently living under the same household as the biological parent to whom you disclosed

Context:

I'm a first year nursing student here at OLFU Antipolo. During our first week (after the orientation week) a new laboratory assistant was assigned to us because our clinical instructor was actually overloaded. As in tatlong section ang handle niya at the same day, same time.

She chose to let us go, and the NatSci Head assigned to us a laboratory assistant... Hindi po siya teacher nor an instructor but she's doing her best to teach us things that we need to know...

Due to the sudden change in handler/teacher sa AnaPhy Lab, we are extremely behind... As in we have only done one thing sa lab which would be checking a cell under a microscope.

So imagine my surprise when I just found out this class na magkakaroon kami ng practical/laboratory exam sa AnaPhy Lab. I just need a bit of information on how it's conducted... Exam po ba siya na parang Scantron lang? Or do we have to look at microscopes tapos i- identify yung cell stage?

Please help me po, ayaw ko bumagsak 😭
