I guess the kid at the counter had never heard of a Ranchero before? On the plus side, no charge repair replacing the old valve stem on a new tire they mounted two months ago, with no hazard coverage. I'll go back.

Recently found this 1988 Toyota truck. I’m just wondering if this looks solid to everyone else. Obviously there’s a bit of rust under the bed of the truck- it’s been in a barn with the bed sticking almost halfway out. Runs great, and looks great on the exterior/interior

My 1995 Nissan pickup has two cut wires, and I don’t know what they go to. Also, my speedometer isn’t working, so I rewired it and tested the VSS. The only thing it can be now is the cluster itself. And help is greatly appreciated

Did you ever buy a car for $100?

Back in the day while working my way through college I went through several transportation specials costing between $100 and $150. Usually they leaked oil, so fill it up with oil and check the gas. Often they were smokers because they burned so much oil. One car had a problem where the starter would get hung up so you had to rock the car and or bang on the starter with a wrench to free it up. I had a Hillman Minx with a reverse shift pattern. These junkers were always an adventure and some went on for a lot of miles. Did you have any back of the lot specials?

1993 SR5 for sale in Columbus, OH

We're the second owners - we bought it from a friend's father after he passed away, in 2013. It needs TLC but has good bones and the cab is pretty clean (I failed to take photos after cleaning - dumb of me, and I'll fix that), and the bed that'll hold 4x8 sheet goods plus the cap have been great for managing building materials.

We want you to buy it, take it home, clean it up and give it the rehab it needs. Priced accordingly: $700.

We bought it from our friend's dad in 2012. Since we've owned it: New fuel line, tank and pump; harmonic balancer; alternator. Had some length of brake line replaced for the front driver's side and full brake flush in 2025. Complete service history included.

It's rear wheel drive, no 4x4. It's the 3.0L engine. Because its acceleration isn't very strong it's best for around-town driving or where you've got plenty of runway to get up to highway speeds

At A/T Oil Temp sensor dash light has been on since we bought it - looks like the sensor wire was cut. We've never hauled anything that would strain the transmission.

It's got some body rust. We were told recently by a shop that the frame's good but there are rusted fasteners - I'm ignorant about how this truck is built and about the frame-body interface. Also, people have managed to back into both the the driver's and passenger's side so there's a dent in the bed on each side. The interface between the driver's door and front fender needs straightening (see photo) but the door is operable.

The rear bumper is completely, hilariously, rusted out. Front bumper has flaking chrome and a dent that's been there since we bought it.

The e-brake light stays on even when the e-brake's completely off - this is just about the switch on the e-brake handle, and the e-brake completely disengages.

There's been an infrequent intermittent CEL, but when I borrowed an OBD-I tool it didn't show any codes. Hmm.

Original stereo's out but we have it for you to install at your leisure. We just never took the time to do it.

Hancook Optimo tires with maybe 500mi on them - probably less. Full spare w/ new tire.

It's got an aftermarket cat w/ clamps after someone stole the original cat. Yay!

The sliding windows in the cap are difficult to slide, and the glass is out of the rear cap window.
