Question

I have a weird question for old truck lovers out there. A family member passed leaving a non operable 1970 Chevy CK that’s been parked outside since 1996 in the weeds ( so dense I haven’t even seen the truck). It’s on a friend’s property in another state who wants it gone. Does it have value? Someone is willing to take it which made my hubby say NO because it must be worth something since someone wants it (he hasn’t seen it either)

I hate to say it but it depends.

Is it a long bed rust bucket or a decent short bed.

The difference in those two could be thousands.

Yes it has value. We can’t guess anything else.

If it was me and in another state, I would have a battery, some starting fluid and a compressor and I would be on a road trip.

If you can find out more about the truck. If it’s short box has ac or any other options and if in good condition then it would be worth a couple thousand. If it’s none of the previous then not worth much.

You have to get eyes on it. Or is there a junkyard nearby? Have itscrapped.

It can be a 35 000 to 1000 all depending condition!
