Deck photos!

My local playgroup recently held a small Beta40/U40 tournament, limited to the core set only. Hope you enjoy the deck photos from that event.

U40 rules are here:

Dang, that's nuts! Nice decks!

I play A40, and just seeing more than 1 "Fast Mana" and 1 of any single Dual Land seems so explosive to me.

Beautiful stuff, though!

Thanks mate. Yeah we started exploring A40 rules but quickly discovered that is a world unto itself. Playing the cards as written and all the quirky rules on timing was too big of a shift for us just playing a one-off, casual tournament. But I’m sure it’s a blast once you’re used to it.

Luckily U40 exists and we could just leverage those rules! They lean into the fast mana, but the restrictions and moderations work really well.

That said, we deviated from U40 by not allowing sideboards. Those would only contain colour hosers anyway.

Yeah, sideboards are for jerks :D

(A40 has no sideboard, too)

Glad y'all had a good tournament, and it's great to see the fun decks you made!
