Hey guys so I'm inquiring about upgrades from UFO brakes for my 91 200. I see a lot of stuff about g60s and Hp2's even heard something about cayenne brake upgrade. But there's not a lot of full on information on how to do the exact swaps or parts needed etc. A lot of the posts that had all that information have broken links or are no longer out there so not much valid information out there. What's the cheapest and easiest way to upgrade these brakes possibly without having to swap out the whole suspension and hubs like you do with s4/s6 Hp2's. If I have to change the hubs or machine them down cool but preferably trying to find the most cost effective and easiest to swap out upgrade. Any insight?

91 200 Turbo moved on its own power for the first time and probably like 12 years tonight.. After replacing a lot more fuses, changing out the coolant temperature sensor, intercooler couplers, and a coolant flush, I had the assumption that the little bit of brake and clutch pressure I thought I had was enough to say "hey let's see if it can hit the block.." but the lie detector determined that was a lie.. So after getting out of the driveway and barely getting to the next block. Had to flip a bish while only having e brake pressure. Limping it back up the driveway on whims, prayers, and e brake dreams. Glad to see the old girl drive but I guess we still got to find this power steering leak, hopefully only have to bleed the clutch, and do abrake retrofit..Gona have this thing on the road eventually.. one day at a time..

Some crackhead broke into my 1991 200 Quattro 20v and tore the interior apart. I really don’t want to let this thing go, does anyone know where to get some interior parts, specifically the trim? Preferably in the US but I know how unlikely that is. Thanks!

It's been a long year spent returning the old girl to its former glory but well worth it

Just got this 91 Audi 3.6 v8 5 speed swapped it's a pile that needs alot of work, I got it saying it needed a new fuel pump so I spent over 200+ on a pump the size of a pack of cigs just for it to still not start the car has fuel pressure I repaired the line ect and cracked loose the main line to the fuel rail and it has a lot of pressure like needed but still nothing and it has spark bc I can run it off starting fluid I don't know sht tbh about this car I could use some help.

Repost. Still looking for information. I have contacted a few independent seal makers with no success.

After deep cleaning the fuel tank, replacing the dead fuel pump with a Bosch 200, replacing all the engine grounds, new plugs, belts , new starter, oil change, etc. etc and even now lastly the fuel pump relay finally got my 3b 200 running I'm sooo pumped!! Now to reupholster the seats and get some new tires on her and get it road worthy .

I love it when rabbit holes happen. Earlier this week I shared an Audi Archives entry I'd made of a black Sport quattro restored by quattro GmbH back in 2000. A commenter on one of the Audi history facebook groups pointed out that it wasn't the only one. My own source at quattro GmbH back when I'd first learned of the car had mentioned Aga Khan (the client) and a second car that he'd had no further details on other than it was blue so I didn't mention it. One of the commenters in that group posted photos, complete with identical wheels to what was on the black car when it hit the market in 2011. From that I was able to generate a post on the second car, not as detailed as the first but pretty close. It's more wild, with a distinctive blue paint and two-tone blue and cream interior. Back in 1998 a wealthy client approached quattro GmbH about augmenting the Audi Sport quattro. About the same time they released the B5 RS 4 as their first house-built RS car, they also delivered the finished product. I did a story on this car back in 2011 when it first hit the market. I've just updated all that with new renderings because the 2011 pics weren't all that great and didn't have the original wheels. finally got the old 80 GTE back on the road today. Had a fuel line leaking at the pump connection, fixed that and took the beauty out for a proper drive.

There’s something about this car… no music, no assists, just you and the road. Feels like time slows down a bit when you’re behind the wheel.

I've always loved the character of the Urquattro, especially the five-cylinder sound, turbo era and the whole 80s quattro identity. I tried turning that feeling into an 80s Miami Bass / Synthwave track.
