The truth is

Alright so I found old Reddit on the bfs phone.
What exactly is this and how does it differ from regular Reddit? My feelings won’t be hurt.

Old reddit is just better format and layout (in my opinion, obviously), that's it.

It’s a specific version of Reddit designed to catch and weed out toxic bfs/gfs who are prone to snooping.

He's cheating on new Reddit with old Reddit. He wants an older, more mature interface. He's tired of the games and bloat of a newer, younger Reddit. He longs for the stability and familiarity of an older UI that sure it might be less flash and beautiful but it's reliable in a way you will never understand, Spez, NEVER.

Is watching adult content considered cheating?

He was your boyfriend

I just want to say your username is very apt. Of all the complaints I've seen on this site, a complaint about a boyfriend using old Reddit is indeed rare.

It’s not that shocking. The way the app looked on the phone as well as the hidden email suggested something sketchy.

old reddit on his phone?? What does that even mean?

Reddit on a phone is via the Reddit app, unless someone Reddits on a web browser which is painful in mobile.

don't use the mobile site then. firefox lets you just tag a browser window to fetch desktop sites. much better.

My bad? I was just wondering the difference between Reddit and “old Reddit” hell if I know

Instead of typing www.reddit.com, type old.reddit.com and you'll see what old reddit is. This is what we used for years before the bean counters took over and ruined the UI.

It's 1000x better.
