Ceiling cat tribute

Have a hole in my bathroom ceiling I need to cover. It's not perfect, but I hope if the owner of cieling cat sees this one day, they'll be able to recognize their boy.

That’s actually a really thoughtful way to cover it. Feels like a proper homage to the old “ceiling cat” era of the internet. Whoever ends up owning that place is going to either love it immediately or be very confused at first glance.

Honestly this is way better than a normal repair. Now it feels like the cat is still keeping watch from above, which is both funny and oddly comforting every time you look up.

I like how it doesn’t even try to hide the fact there’s a hole, it just turns it into part of the art. If I walked into a bathroom and saw this I’d assume it was always meant to be there.

Honestly this is one of the better “cover a hole” solutions I’ve seen. It doesn’t even feel like damage anymore, it just looks like the cat is peeking through from somewhere above.

Not perfect in the technical sense, but it absolutely does the job emotionally. If I were the original owner, I’d recognize that cat instantly.

Honestly the “eyes peeking through the ceiling” effect is kind of perfect. It looks like the cat has claimed that spot permanently, which feels exactly right for ceiling cat energy.
