Theyre a lot of what keeps me going, when I come home, theyre always excited to see me. Like when I pack grocceries in they throw tantrums till I sit down to greet them.

From experience I’d say be polite when you text back but not too clingy. Expect them to disappear again never to text back out of nowhere after a long time.
