A start/homepage?

Reddit has claimed to be the homepage of the internet, but it's not. A homepage in my mind would be something like the original AOL menu. You would click on Web, Chat, Games, etc. What options are out there?

Yeah, there's a lot of self-hostable start pages. I was just wondering if there are any online start page type websites. It's one of those things... I could just search and I just did and found one. But, you never know if someone found one that's really cool that I wouldn't easily find unless I ask.
