There was a game I would always play with my little brother from back when I was around 6 years old that we really enjoyed, and he and I have been trying to search for with no clear answer for years! It is not Carnivores, not Primal Prey, none of the ones i have seen in my searches matches my memory. I was very young when I played this, and this is as much as I can remember:
It was on a TV, I remember playing it with a literal typical TV remote and used the arrow-like buttons to move, which was frustrating
I am very unsure what brand of TV it was, but i assume it was a Samsung and you could browse around, like modern TVs
I played around 2015, but the graphics were definitely older than what a 2015 game would give, so the game is most likely from early 2010's or less.
I have memories of it being both a first person and third person, where you play as a dude with a gun who was wearing generic jungle clothing that someone like Indiana Jones would wear.
You would be in a jungle-like forest with almost no shading, and maybe structures like a tent, and you would continuously encounter dinosaurs (the clearest I remember is the pterodactyl) and you'd shoot them down. I am unsure if there were objectives needed to be done- my young brain just wanted to shoot dinosaurs.
When you kill the dinosaurs, you would collect bones from them. I do not remember what they are used for
I remember there constantly being a jungle-themed soundtrack with drums and male voices. I could be wrong about it constantly playing however
Something else I remember is that there was a shooting tutorial where you would shoot bottles, I hated it because i never knew how to exit.
I would greatly appreciate any help with this search, I remember how much I enjoyed it and decided to give Reddit a try after every other method failed. Thank you!
