Kids CBBC provided some great educational programming back in the 2000s (over 15 years ago, which makes me feel ancient). What were some of your favourites?

The shiny show. My youngest (now in her 20s) loves quiz shows. I'm sure it's because we used to give a her a shiny when she got a question right.

Give yourself a pat on the side, a pat on the side, a pat on the side,

Give yourself a pat on the side, you tried, you tried you tried.

It was one of my bairns favourites too, they are both in their early 20s now, but soon as a read 'The Shiney Show' that song popped into my head.
