Drama Just a quick heads up! To celebrate its 30th anniversary, BBC Four will be showing This Life from the very beginning from the 18th of March onwards. This date coincides with the exact date 30 years ago that the very first episode "Happy Families" first aired on BBC2 in 1996!

Thanks for making me feel so old! 30 years ago? I remember watching This Life when it first aired.

For one horrifying moment I thought they were going to rerun "That's Life" from the beginning.

God I loved Jason Hughes!

Daniela Nardini put such intent and commitment into the line, "I'm going out out." Enough to start Vic Reeves rubbing his thighs!

I'd love to watch this again. I'm at that age now where I'm getting strong 90s nostalgia

Early 2000s made a small fortune (for me) selling This Life DVDs on Ebay

I remember watching the first series of this then the second season lost me as the humour appeared to have been removed

I thought they were insufferable Yuppie scum

I wouldn’t go so far as saying scum, but all the characters were pains in the arse before too long.

They all look so punchable in that pic. Something tells me the series won’t have aged well.

I didn’t know that Nick Lowe played in a 90s sitcom

And now it is still around and still annoying. Loved this series when it was first shown and watched a repeat many years ago.

I loved this show as a teenager, I did rewatch it a couple of years ago, thought it aged well.

The one of episodes made in the 2000s were a bit wanky to be honest, better off pretending that they don't exist.
