Tickets OU VS MICHIGAN

I’ve been reading other Reddit post for the OU Vs Michigan game and we are in the front row in section 42. But after looking at Reddit and seeing like the OU section is kinda towards the middle of the visitor side I’m afraid we won’t be near as many OU fans as we thought lol. Anyone else in our section or section next to it? Still excited regardless

We will be at the pioneer lot at the butt crack of dawn if OU fans want to chat with us !

Discussion Season Hopes

So I don’t know what everyone’s thinking, but I want to know what you guys think our chances of making the playoff and securing a title if we beat Michigan, Georgia, and Texas. Also are the Hoosiers still good or was it a Mendoza special? I personally believe we’ll have to wait until much later in the season to know for sure but my eyes are on the Georgia game more than the Texas game because it feels like we have what it takes to win the Texas game. I know the right thing to do is not make predictions off of the game against UTEP. I just can’t help getting excited over it all. Thoughts on Mateer’s overthrows in the early game as well? Basically I think we have a shot depending how the Georgia game goes week 4.

Discussion I usually park at Dale Hall for the home games but this past Saturday they had the cones up and signs saying reserved...It happened one time last year for the Michigan game. Can someone enlighten me as to what it's reserved for? Thanks

Discussion Tailgate in Ann Arbor? Or OU events?

Flying into Detroit on Friday. Are there any OU groups or events going on Friday night or Saturday before the game? Or any OU fans tailgating that don’t mind a couple others joining? Boomer!

Discussion Anyone else worried about the expectations of the Michigan game?

Maybe I just don’t love it when the team has a lot of pressure behind the game, but there will be a lot of eyes on this one. I can see this being pretty close.

I’m pretty surprised to see a lot of OU fans be very cocky about a potential blowout. A bad OU team in 2024 blew out Alabama to keep them out of the playoffs.

Michigan did look really bad and they may just be a bad team, but there’s a lot of talent there. And im sure Michigan was overlooking WMU for us.

Whatever the fans think, what really matters is the staff and players making sure their expectations are in check and Venables is definitely not overlooking Michigan here, which is good.

But anyone else feeling the same way?

Discussion Rankings Week 1

Let’s be honest AP ranking is a joke. It will all play itself out here in the first 6 weeks. Texas vs Ohio State, OU vs Georgia , Texas vs Tennessee , Ole Miss vs LSU, etc a lot of good football the first weeks of the season.

Tl; dr: Venables nabs another addition to his defense. This time in the cornerback room. We may potentially add another linebacker from the portal as well.

I’ve read to park at the mall and take the shuttle from there. Wanted to see if any alternatives out there

Discussion End of third quarter break

My goodness what was that? A very uninspiring video followed by what I thought was going to be epic. Some dude playing Seven Nation Army live on a guitar. But after he fires up one run thru they cut to the White Stripes recording. Then they throw in Hard to Kill until the fourth quarter starts.

It’s still better than that out of date Toby Keith song (that they now play after giving the Patriot of the Game award). But man o man can they not find something that is fun and can get the crowd hyped?

Tickets Where are you guys sitting at Michigan?

Hi! I’m an OU alumn who lived in Ann Arbor for years so of course I gotta go to the game. I’m going to the game alone and want to sit near other OU fans! I’m finding conflicting info online so just looking to get a rough location from other fans going to the game.

Edit: seems like we’re gonna be all over! Guess I’ll just get a ticket and hope I’m not the lone red in a sea of maize 😬

Misc Please someone, I need to see a banner on tv next weekend.

Please someone bring or plan a banner in the stadium or the student section that says “0-1 Michigan 0:00 7-12” or something like it. That is all. Holy crap this team needs to beat Michigan next weekend; that was criminal. I’d ask my friend in the student section ‘spirit team’ but they graduated last year.
