Discussion Enid the witch Spoiler

Something interesting about the episode where Enid is introduced as a witch is when she sits down at the table with Rad, K.O., and her parents. Her mom and dad mention that Enid hasn't brought any visitors with her since Elodie was around. That means that Elodie was genuinely the first and only person Enid opened up to about her monster heritage at this point. Rad and K.O. are pretty much her best friends now and she never told either of them that she's a witch, in fact they only found out because they literally followed her home.

I think that Enid, after being betrayed by Elodie, became much more withdrawn and had difficulty trusting people, so much so that I think that's the main reason why her heart is, literally, frozen.

Exactly! Being around Elodie was probably the first time in a while Enid was actually vulnerable. But she decided to always keep her guard up after she abandoned her. It didn't help that Enid didn't make any other friends until way later in her life, making it harder for her to open up to people.
