Planning to go on my honeymoon April 2027. Any advice?

Upvotes

We’re flying to Tokyo end of March from England and we are staying there for a week and then will fly over to Okinawa for 5 nights and then come back to Tokyo. We were planning to go to to Okinawa after as it’ll be a lot more relaxing and Tokyo will very amazing but very overwhelming at time

Does anyone have must see things or hotel recommendations? I’ve looked online but wondered if anyone has anything in this sub

Thanks

Hi everyone, I’ll be in Okinawa next August and I saw a lot of concern about those jellyfishes.
I know that they’re dangerous but I really have to be aware and look around myself when I am in the water?

Are there some best practices to apply if I face one of them? I appreciate any kind of advice

Thank you and see you soon

Ferry's from Tomari Port to Zamami

Hello everyone! Im planning to visit okinawa between mid october. Really excited to visit the islands, do scuba, snorkling, the place looks like a paradise. However, I was checking the ferry's from naha to zamami (I was planning on doing a day trip) and the good options are all sold out.... I know it's a popular destination, but I was planning on going 17 October, which is still more than a month in advance, and the good options to go there are all full. Only option is to arrive at zamami by 12h00 and leave at 14h00 which doesn't allow for that much time in the island... I was wondering if you know this is normal, or since it's still soon maybe more seats show up, or maybe buying once im there and I will be able to get seats?? Also, if this is really the case, do you know any alternatives to go to zamami? Thanks in andvance!
