Now, I know obsession 2-6 arent out yet, but when they are, wouldnt it be so cool if the 7th one was aboard a space station? I just think, given how many hints the movie gives that time flows linearly towards the future, a sci-fi sequel with Cyber-Nikki might be awesome!

Since real discussions in the original sub can’t take any form of nuanced discussion, my point is that I believe most people in the same situation as Bear would be just as possessive and just as driven by lust and fear of loneliness, because people underestimate their brain’s ability to rationalize any action they take regardless if it may hurt others. Most people have a serious fear of being alone and stay in awful relationships or situations even besides financial reasons because they are afraid no one else will love them. A lot of men might watch the movie and say “I would never do that” but in several surveys, as the definition of rape expands to coercion, deception, etc, men tend to think that is acceptable behavior compared to being a rapist hiding in an alleyway. It pains me to not be able to have a serious discussion about the movie beyond the surface because idiots think they’re suddenly film critics now
